One of the most frequent comments by visitors is that people here are very friendly. We have an excellent school system and the community actively supports programs for our youth. The New Mexico State University Alamogordo Branch has to be one of the nicer campuses. It is located next to the International Space Hall of Fame and the Tombaugh Omni-Max Theater.
