Why Choose me as your Realtor®? Besides being a skilled communicator, my extensive background in title research, cadastral mapping, and as County Assessor, as well as a willingness to go that extra mile has proven to be most beneficial as I assist sellers and buyers in the very important process of the real estate transaction. I particularly enjoy the search for a new home and receive a great deal of satisfaction from being involved in that process. Witnessing the pride and joy on the face of a new home owner is a reward in itself.
Born and raised in Minnesota, I moved to Alamogordo in 1983. My employment background includes Land Title Research, Deputy Treasurer for Otero County and more than 20 years in the Otero County Assessor's Office. I was elected to the position of Otero County Assessor in 2002 and re-elected in 2006. During my tenure as County Assessor, I became a Certified New Mexico Appraiser. Being term limited and unable to run for the office again, I made the decision to use my experience and expertise as an Associate Broker.
I enjoy all sports and recreational bodybuilding as well as charity work. I also do background acting and Production Assistant work for television and movie productions in New Mexico. I was even fortunate to be a stand-in on the popular television show, "Breaking Bad."
The most important things in my life are God, family and country. My wife, Teresa and I have two children, Ashley (Ricky) Caraway and Seth, a member of our Army National Guard. I am a member of First Assembly Worship Center, the Rotary Club and a board member of the Tiger Sports Booster Club.
I am delighted and proud to be a part of Coldwell Banker Sudderth Nelson. The company has an amazingly successful history and a great reputation based on professionalism. I am most grateful to Mike & Theresa Nelson for allowing me to be part of this winning team.
