Professional Experience: David first got his real estate license in 1970 and has over 25 years of sales experience. He also obtained a real estate appraiser's license and has 20 years experience in that field. He no longer does appraisals but has the knowledge to value your home or business. Over the years he also owned and managed a retail customer service business and knows what the individual is up against.
Education: David graduated from Alamogordo High School in 1970. In 1974 he graduated from NMSU in Las Cruces, NM with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, majoring in Finance. David also completed various classes with the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers.
Outside Interests: David has always loved the outdoors and sports since he was young. David took advantage of New Mexico's abundance of outdoor recreation and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger days. He also enjoyed football, baseball and basketball.
Personal Information: David was born in Elk City, Oklahoma in 1952. He came from a family of farmers who lived through The Dust Bowl, The Depression and World War II. His family started moving to this area in the early 50's and David's father brought his family to Alamogordo in 1954 when he was 2 years old. His father, Charles Herrell, had various positions from selling cars for the local dealers to opening Herrell Realty in 1964. David has been around the real estate business all his life and there is nothing he enjoys more than helping people.
